In January of 2018, Melissa discovered her love of yoga while her husband was away serving on his first deployment. That season of discomfort prompted her to begin searching for healthy forms of stress management. Enter hot yoga. Having never truly committed to a solid yoga practice before, the classes were intimidating at first; but there was something that kept pulling Melissa back in to that humid, yet welcoming studio. After returning home to San Diego, she continued to pursue her love of yoga at a few different studios, eventually finding her way to Buddhi Yoga. For Melissa, Buddhi has become a bright and supportive second home. Blessed with a lighthearted nature, and guided by God’s love, she seeks to provide approachable, yet fun vinyasa flows that are sure to bring a smile to everyone’s faces.
