There is so much more to yoga than we experience in group classes. Many of you want to learn more, but don’t have the time or money to invest in a traditional teacher training program. Buddhi University is a non-dogmatic approach to sharing the full spectrum of the yoga tradition with you. From anatomy to philosophy, we will cover everything you’ve ever wanted to learn, experience and feel when it comes to your yoga practice.
Students enrolled in Buddhi University meet just one partial weekend per month. Elective weekends are available as well. Throughout the program you will be encouraged to attend at least three classes per week in person at Buddhi Yoga and/or online on yourBuddhi.com. There will be a few affordable books to purchase with reading and writing assignments and teaching exercises to complete each month.
The more time and effort you put in to attending the weekends, taking classes, and completing the assignments, the more you’ll get from your experience. At the end of the program you will be ready to lead classes if you put the work in. If you don’t want to teach, this will be a wonderful growth experience for you personally and you will have a whole new appreciation and love for the beautiful practice of yoga with all your Buddhi friends.
If you would like to get your 200 hour Yoga Alliance teaching certificate, you must complete the following three modules: Yoga Foundations, Teach Vinyasa Like a Pro and Learn to Teach Slow Flow. The summer weekends are elective add-ons to enrich your overall experience, expose you to more styles of yoga and expand your knowledge.
You don’t need to sign up for the entire program at once. Pay as you go and start small with our first three partial weekends focused on the fundamentals of yoga.
